Brexit news latest – EU warns Britain negotiations at ‘very critical stage’ as No Deal could become reality in days

THE EU warns that its negotiations with Britain are at a “very critical stage” as No Deal could become reality in days.

Michael Roth, Germany’s Europe minister, told reporters in Luxembourg: “I would like to emphasise that the negotiations are now at a very, very critical stage and we are under very serious time pressure.

“We will see in the next few days whether a positive outcome can be achieved, or whether we have to intensify our preparations for a scenario without an agreement.”

negotiations have been progressing well in recent days but Boris Johnson has suggested a deadline of this Thursday if the trade deal is to be ratified in time for the end of the transition period on December 31.

Meanwhile, a new post-Brexit deal could see cutting-edge medical treatments fast-tracked to patients, according to the UK’s health officials.

They’ve announced the new collaboration with regulators in a number of other countries including the US, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Singapore and Brazil.
