I’M A Celebrity’s famous Dingo Dollars challenge phone box has been delivered to Gwrych Castle ready for the series launch.
Pictures showed the moment the rusty red telephone touched down in the Welsh countryside.
The telephone box can often lead to tense moments on set as the celebs struggle to agree on the answer to the show’s random statistics-based questions.
It’s used every episode in the series – hosted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly – giving celebrities the chance to win goodies for camp.
But often the stars fail to correctly answer Kiosk Kev‘s 50-50 question – and Dec revealed the crew get to eat the treats instead.
Kiosk Kev took over the reins of the Outback Shack last year following Kiosk Keith’s sacking.
This week I’m a Celebrity fever hit the tiny Welsh town where the show will film after coronavirus ruled out a trip to Australia.
Locals have decorated the high street with endless pictures of I’m A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec.
Shop owners in Abergele’s high street in North Wales have gone all out to welcome the show by hanging I’m A Celeb memorabilia in shop windows, while a local artist even splashed a huge murial on the side of a building in a funny tribute.
And in a spooky nod to the celebs’ new camp Gwrych Castle – which is said to be haunted – his and Dec’s faces had been glued onto huge skeletons in a shop’s Halloween window display.
The presenters recently filmed the I’m A Celeb trailer in the area, showing the Geordie duo arriving in Wales.
However, the cheeky pair appeared to have missed the memo that they wouldn’t be shooting in Australia for the first time in the show’s history – and still believed they were Down Under.
In the video, cheery Ant McPartlin steps out of a cab into the Welsh countryside, exclaiming: “G’day Australia, ah it’s great to be back.”
He then unceremoniously steps in some cowpat, joking: “I would hate to see the kangaroo who left that!”

Meanwhile, Declan Donnelly believes he has slept through the 24 hour flight, pulling an eye mask from his face as he gasps: “Wow that was quick – I must have slept through the whole flight!”
They pay the cabbie in dingo dollars before being left confused by the sheep and general area – which looks nothing like their map of Australia.
