THERE’S always something magical about glimpsing a full moon outside your window at night.
Some people believe the moon’s cycle affect how we feel, while others aren’t convinced.
The bargain lover posted on the group about her recent find, which she had nabbed for an incredible £2: “Love our moon lamp, only £2 from Poundland. Sets such a nice mood light and looks so much more expensive!”
The post is accompanied by a photograph of the lamp, glowing in the woman’s home.
The Poundland shopper had found a home for her new lamp on some shelves next to a small house plant, creating a cosy autumnal look.
The incredible value light is battery-charged, and would work well in a hallway or in an astronomy-loving kid’s bedroom.
Additionally, it can be used as a night light for kids, as one mum said that she had bought one for each of her daughters, and they’d proven to be just the thing to help them drift off to sleep.
The woman’s Facebook post garnered thousands of likes and endless streams of comments from people asking which Poundland branch successful shoppers had managed to get them from.
Lots of people used it as an excuse for a Poundland trip with their friends, and some tagged friends asking them to pick them one up if they spotted one.
The lamp is said to be stored in the Christmas section of Poundland stores.
