SOMOLU COUNCIL CHAIRMAN ‘DULLAR’ COMMEND TUTORS/TEACHERS OVER UPLIFTING SUMMER COACHING

One of the incessant ways of giving back to the society is to impart knowledge unto those, who are needless to say, short of it and this act has now earned some persons a show of respect.

Consequently, the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu a.k.a Dullar has commended all the Tutors and Teachers over their time, efficiency, perseverance and zeal, as ventured into demonstrating true hearts of fertile leadership, with the aim of guiding the pupils and students in the community to meet their academic goals during this present summer and ahead of their resumption to their individual schools.

Recall, that the rewarded coaches spent an actual period of four weeks, which is somewhat equivalent to 16 days according to schedule, to drill the trainees through mostly academia, skills/mentorship sessions and sport activities by resourceful youth leaders and builders, whose purposes apace with that of the Council Chairman and the beneficiaries, as regards the level of commitments shown from inception.

The Council’s helmsman, Hon. Salawu, who has an obligation by law, to effect positively, the lives of his people through his administrative tasks, has not only solve a problem envisaged, but it has complemented the impressive moves he had made, since the beginning of his second term in office, specifically on environment; roads and infrastructures, welfarism to mention few, which are in line with Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s Project T.H.E.M.E.S. to compliment the efforts of Lagos State Government in Education sector.

In the gathering, their cheerful moments birthed word of encouragement from the host to the Principal Coordinators, Comrade Ademola and Comrade Mustapha respectively, then photo session follows, which also captured the notably participation of Hon. Adekunle Ekiyemi (Vice Chairman), Hon. Lateef Ashimi (Former SA on Education turned Chief Whip, Somolu Legislative Council), Hon. Olubiyi Afolarin (Chief Of Staff) and Mr Mr. Hakeem Adebayo (Acting Council Treasurer).
