2023: Jigawa APC guber candidate casts votes as residents complain of polling units swap

The Jigawa State All Progressives Congress APC gubernatorial candidate, Malam Umar Namadi has cast his votes in Kafin Hausa local government.

The Deputy Governor cast his votes at Imam Hassan Islamiyya 012 polling unit, Kafin Hausa ward at exactly 11:20 AM.

Responding to questions from newsmen, the Deputy governor expressed satisfaction over the high turnover.

DAILY POST observed that the election is going on smoothly and voters have already started casting their votes in the polling unit.

A voter, Bala Sani expressed dismay over INEC’s transfer of some voters’ polling units.

He said some of the affected voters have been transferred to villages as their new voting polling units.

He explained that most of the voters were disappointed as they are finding it difficult to transport themselves to their new polling units.

DAILY POST found that some of the voters have gone home as they have no means of casting their votes.
