Abiam makes Rangers u-turn despite agreeing two-year contract

Defender, Nelson Abiam has parted ways with Nigeria Premier League club, Rangers, few weeks after signing for the Coal City outfit.
Abiam signed a two-year deal with the Flying Antelopes last month.
Reason for his mutual disengagement was not stated by both parties.
The former Nasarawa United defender wished the Fidelis Ilechukwu tutored side all the best in the future.
“I wanted to personally let you know that I have mutually agreed with Enugu Rangers to part ways after signing a two-year deal just last month.
“Despite the short stay, I’m grateful for the opportunity,” he stated on his social media page.
“While I may not have had the chance to step onto the field wearing the Rangers jersey, I’m excited for what the future holds.
“Your unwavering support means the world to me and motivates me to embrace new challenges.”
