AGORO COMMENDS TORIOLA ON LAGOS STATE MAN OF THE YEAR AWARD

Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, has commended the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Housing, Engr. Abdulhafis Gbolahan Toriola, FNSE, CIOD, for his outstanding contributions to the development and progress of Lagos State and his dedication to Public Service.

Agoro stated this on Sunday, 13th September, 2026, in an address delivered at the conferment of the Lagos State Man of the Year Award (LASMAYA 2026) on Engr. Toriola, organised by the Centre for Policy Development and Political Studies, held at the Marquee, Radio Lagos/Eko FM Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.

The Head of Service, who was represented at the occasion by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tertiary Education, Mr. Adeniran Kasali, described the prestigious honour as a testament to Toriola’s exemplary leadership, dedication to Public Service and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Lagos State.

He noted that Toriola’s achievements and positive impact in the Public Service continued to inspire many, stressing that the recognition was a fitting acknowledgement of his remarkable service and contributions to society.

Agoro congratulated Toriola on the well deserved honour and prayed that Almighty God would continue to grant him greater wisdom, strength, good health and success as he contributes meaningfully to the growth and prosperity of Lagos State and Nigeria.

He wished him more honours, greater achievements and greater heights in the years ahead.

The event was attended by Lagos State Government Officials, Captain’s of Industry, and other notable personalities.
