Agoye thanks Sunshine Stars’ fans for support after securing playoff spot
Sunshine Stars head coach, Edith Agoye, has expressed gratitude to the club supporters after securing a spot in the Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six playoff.
The Owena Waves defeated Dakkada 2-0 at the Ondo Sports Complex to qualify for the NPFL playoff.
Agoye also eulogised his players for their efforts in actualising their objective.
“We can’t do it without the fans despite all ups and down,” an emotional Agoye told DAILY POST.
“The players are the true actors of this achievement because they believed and stayed professional althrough in achieving this feat.”
Sunshine Stars join Rivers United and Lobi Stars from Goup B for the Super Six playoff billed for the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, next month.
