Alex Iwobi names best player he has ever played with
Super Eagles midfielder, Aex Iwobi, has revealed the best player he has ever played with in his career.
Iwobi began his career at Arsenal, spending fifteen years with the Gunners before leaving the Emirates Stadium in a permanent deal to Everton in 2019.
The central midfielder played 149 matches for Arsenal, managing 15 goals.
In an interview with Voice of Nigeria, the midfielder, who is currently on international duty at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, picked Santi Cazorla as the best player he has played with.
“The best player I have played with is Santi Cazorla when I was at Arsenal,” Iwobi said.
“I have always been around a lot of French players, especially when I was at Arsenal, so I’ve learned a few words. Maybe another time I’ll probably try to learn some more,” he added.
