Anger as elderly grandfather weds ”under-aged” girl

Nigerians on social media have reacted to a souvenir shared online from a wedding believed to have taken place between an elderly grandfather and a young girl.

The wedding allegedly took place in the Northern part of the country.

Many said the photo triggers them, as others questioned why a ”baby” should be given out in marriage. 

The ceremony reportedly took place on Friday, 22nd of January, 2021.
