AY messed with loyalty – Comedian Basketmouth

A throwback interview of comedian Bright Okpocha, professionally called Basketmouth, blaming colleague Ayodeji Richard Makun, better known as AY, for breaking their loyalty bond has resurfaced on the internet.

Following AY’s recent interview with the popular media personality Chude Jideonwo, where he attributed the cause of the 17 years of rift to a business transaction that went sour.

However, the interview led to a resurgence of Basketmouth’s old discussion on the beef which has continued to cause a stir on social media as netizens dig up an old video of Basketmouth in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

In a now-trending video, Basketmouth accused AY of sharing confidential information with a third party, which caused damage to their relationship.

Basketmouth said: “The thing is this, friendship for me is everything. I don’t mess around with friendship, I don’t mess around with loyalty. He (AY) came to my space and messed around with loyalty.

“Though I don’t want to go into details, he said something I personally shared with him with my lawyer Magnus. And Magnus called me.”
