Barcelona convince Man City’s Gundogan to sign 3-year contract with Xavi’s side

Barcelona have reportedly convinced Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan to join them this summer.

The La Liga champions are offering a three-year contract to Gundogan, and the Germany international is ready to join on a free transfer.

According to SPORT, the Catalan club are working on bringing in Gundogan, whom they see as an addition to midfield, to continue Xavi’s rebuild this summer.

Manchester City are still working on getting Gundogan a new deal and are working on terms.

Arsenal are also in the race for Gundogan as manager Mikel Arteta is keen on getting another Man City player through the doors.

Gundogan had recently hinted that he would look for a fresh challenge this summer.
