Benue: Gov Alia appoints Acting Accountant General

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has approved the appointment of Mrs Theresa Nyitse as Acting Accountant General of the state.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Alia said the appointment takes immediate affect.

According to Kula the appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Joseph Alakali.

Nyitse, before her latest appointment, was an Accountant in the Central Accounts of the Office of the Accountant General, Benue State.

She is to take over from Mr Agwaza Iorkpiligh who has been the Accountant General of the state.
