#Breaking: Agege LG Chairmanship Aspirant, Kamal Oyedunle stepped down for Hon Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi’s

An Aspirant contesting for the office of the Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government in the coming LG elections, Kamal Oyedunle has stepped down for the Incumbent Chairman of Agege Local Government, Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi (JP).

This was made known publicly at the constituency office of the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa; today 19 May, 2021.

Hon. Kamal Oyedunle in his remark, noted that his decision was reached after due consultation with his Leaders, Elders, Stakeholders and his teeming supporters in Agege Local Government area.

He added that he did not just stepped down for Egunjobi, that himself and all his supporters have unanimously agreed to embark on vigorous campaign to ensure that Egunjobi’s second term bid becomes a reality come July elections.

On the reason for his action at this crucial period, Kamal Oyedunle emphatically stated that, though the political space in Agege right now has shown that Agege has what it takes when it come to governance, and as such, the incumbent council chief, Egunjobi has in all honesty enfranchised leadership qualities with human face; and the development witness in Agege Local Government area under Egunjobi led administration is second to none in entire Lagos State.

Hon. Kamal Oyedunle, however noted that whosoever that still want to challenge Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi (JP) in the coming council elections is free to do so though, but it is advisable to step down now because it is going to be an effort in futility. He added that from the survey conducted recently, it was discovered that the good people of Agege Local Government area are pleased with Egunjobi led administration, as such; it is pertinent to give Egunjobi a second term opportunity to consolidate on the good work he is doing for the people of the council area.

Hon. Oyedunle therefore enjoined all other aspirants and the people of the local government area to come together, support, canvass and vote for Egunjobi Leekan si 2021.

Egunjobi is working, Agege LG is moving forward.
