Buhari reacts to Sunday Mbang’s death

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, reacted to the death of Sunday Mbang, a former president of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN.

DAILY POST had earlier reported that Mbang died on Tuesday at the age of 86.

Reacting, Buhari, in a statement by his Spokesman, Femi Adesina, sympathizes with Methodists in Nigeria and the Diaspora over the death of Mbang.

Buhari also extended his heartfelt condolences to Mbang’s family, the people and the government of Akwa Ibom State.

The president said the late Mbang “was indeed a spiritual colossus beyond the shores of his fatherland,” praying for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased.
