CAF unveils venue for 2023 AFCON draw

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Friday announced the venue for the draw ceremony of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The draw will hold at the Parc Des Expositions, Abidjan, on October 12.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are among the 14 teams that have already booked their places at Africa’s soccer fiesta.

The remaining 10 slots will be completed on the last matchday of the qualifiers in September.

The 2023 AFCON which will be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire, will run from January 13 to February 11.

The Teranga Lions of Senegal are the defending champions of the biennial competition.
