CALL TO GLORY:THE AFIAS LAY MATRIARCH TO REST THIS WEEKEND

The family of Late Archibong Thompson Afia of Ikot AkpaEse Efa Etinan L.G.A. is set to commit to mother earth the remains of late Deaconess Mary Archibong Afia this weekend.

Deaconess Mary lived a fulfilled life and passed on at age 82, according to a release by the deceased family, activities to bid her farewell commence from Thursday, July 6,2023 with the Opening of Mourning House. Friday 7th July, 2023 is set aside for the Service of Songs from 5:00pm at Archibong Thompson Afia’s Compound, Ikot AkpaEse Efa Etinan L.G.A. to be followed by some entertainment.

Mama Afia will be interred on Saturday 8th July, 2023 with a Funeral Service at QIC Primary School Efa, Etinan L.G.A. by 10:00am to be conducted by QUA IBOE CHURCH.

Friends, well-wishers and sympathisers are cordially invited to witness the occasion.
