Champions League final: Inter Milan is bigger than Man City – Guardiola

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has claimed that Inter Milan is a “bigger club” than them.

Guardiola stated this while speaking with BT Sport ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final.

City are looking to win the trophy for the first time, while Inter wants to end a 12-year wait for it, after winning it under Jose Mourinho in 2012.

“I saw Inter’s games and we tried to do our game. Everything finishes with a game and the team who performs best over 95 minutes will win.

“Inter Milan is bigger than us, in terms of history in this competition, and we are favourites to win the game, but what’s important is that, at 10pm Istanbul time, we do the best performance possible and that can make the difference,” Guardiola said.
