Championship: Watford’s Dele-Bashiru ruled out of season with injury

Sky Bet Championship club, Watford have revealed former Flying Eagles midfielder, Tom Dele-Bashiru will not play again this season.

Dele-Bashiru spent last season on loan at another Sky Bet Championship club, Reading.

The Nigerian who returned to the Vicarage Road has, however, been blighted by injury.

The 23-year-old has been in and out of the Watford squad this season.

Dele-Bashiru recently copped an ankle injury in training and the Hornets were hopeful he will return to action before the end of the season.

“Tom Dele-Bashiru will miss the rest of the 2022/23 season having suffered an ankle injury in training,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.

He has made six league appearances for the London club this season.
