Chelsea vs Arsenal: It will be strange for Aubameyang to play against Gunners – Ian Wright

Ian Wright has told Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang that it was going to be strange for the Gabonese to play against his former club, Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

Aubameyang was stripped of the Gunners’ captaincy and banished from the first team after he was accused of a disciplinary breach.

The club would later terminate his contract to enable him leave for Barcelona in the 2022 January transfer window.

Aubameyang returned to London after six months in Spain and now plays for West London giants, Chelsea and has been named in Graham Potter’s side to face Arsenal on Sunday.

Speaking shortly before the game, Ian Wright said, “It gonna be strange for him today.”

Wright went on to explain that it was strange for him to play against Arsenal after leaving them for West Ham United.
