Chief Mrs Felicia Ajike Awoniyi, JP: Family Announces Funeral Arrangements for 83-Year-Old Matriarch

The family of Chief Mrs Felicia Ajike Eniola Awoniyi, JP, has announced funeral arrangements for the late matriarch, who died at the age of 83.

The programme, released in celebration of her life and legacy, outlines a series of ceremonies in Lagos and Osun State to honour the deceased, remembered by her family as a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.

The ceremonies will begin with a commendation service on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Ronnie Dee Event Center, by Agege Pen Cinema, Lagos. The service will be coordinated by the Celestial Church of Christ, Orisun Abiye Parish.

A wake-keep will follow on Wednesday, November 11, at 4:00 p.m. on Bolorunduro Street, Eko-Ende, Ikirun, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.

The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, November 12, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Eko-Ende, Ikirun, Ifelodun LGA, Osun State. Interment will take place at the church cemetery, with a reception to follow immediately on the church premises.

A Lagos reception will subsequently be held on Sunday, November 15, at 1:00 p.m. at All Seasons Events Hall, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.
The family has invited relatives, friends, associates and well-wishers to join them in honouring the life of the deceased and celebrating the memories and values she leaves behind.
