COMRADE OLAYIWOLA RASHEED JEBBA HAMILTON SUBMITS APC COUNCILLORSHIP NOMINATION FORM

– Restates Determination To Win The Election And Drive The Ward Towards Development Prosperity

Accompanied by Political Stakeholders, Academic Colleagues, Religion members, Captains of Private Businesses, and league of accomplished Constituents, the leading Councillorship aspirant for the July 24, Lagos State Local Government Election, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton today, Tuesday, May 11, 2021, made bold his intention to become the next Councillor of Ward A, Agege as he submitted his Councillorship nomination form at the State Party Secretariat of the APC in Lagos.

The Isale-Oja born Engineer cum writer, was ushered into the secretariat in company of his beloved wife, Mrs Olayiwola Kafilat Abosede, the former SUG President, University of Benin, Comrade Lauretta Obakpolo, Member of the Etim-Ekpo Student Union, Comrade Akanano Harrison, the Director of Gender Affairs (NANS-JCC), Comrade Eduek Bassey, amongst others.

Addressing the gathering, Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton, stated that the party needs a candidate who has perfect understanding of the agitations and yearnings of the youths and women in the Ward, as well as the winning combination to retain the party to power in Ward A, Agege of Lagos State.

Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton told the State Executive Officers of the party that the party must present a candidate who is widely acceptable: grassroots and people-oriented in order to win the election. He said that he already has a blueprint that will assist him in developing the ward to its full potentials. He further stated that he is the most qualified and best aspirant amongst those who are running to represent the constituents of Ward A in the Agege Legislative Arm.

While urging the party to provide an atmosphere that guarantees a free and fair contest, Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton stated that by the grace of God, if given the Councillorship ticket, God will grant him victory.

Reacting, the former SUG President of University of Benin, Comrade Lauretta Obakpolo, described Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton as a goal-getter, bold and courageous vibrant youth. He said that Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton’s capacity to win the election is not in doubt but however, the party will provide a level playing ground for all aspirants in line with its commitment to strengthen its internal democracy.

“He was in his final year when I was given admission into the institution. He always call on us, have word of motivations with us and at times, he organised free lessons for us despite his tight schedule. His legacy live on and that’s why we came down to Lagos when he told us he had obtained his Councillorship nomination form”, Obakpolo said.

Speaking, his wife, Mrs Olayiwola Kafilat Abosede described Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton as a husband with whom she is well pleased. She noted that the husband is a great manager of both human and material resources and will no doubt perform exceedingly well as Councillor.

Comrade Eduek Bassey in her speech said “unreservedly, Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton is well prepared, experienced and competent to represent Ward A, Agege.

“Curiously, like myself, many other youths had their eyes fixed to drink from the deep experience of Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton because of his intellectual fecundity, grit, performance in everywhere he find himself. If I’m not missing anything, vision will always take the centre stage once he attained the seat. We are all here to make it known that Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton is a Councillorship material the people of Ward A, Agege shouldn’t afford to miss”, she reiterated.

If the party wants to truly bag the light of excellence and continuity, knowing that 2023 is almost at hand, the elders, leaders and members should not fail to give Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton the ticket because by all standards, he stands tall and shoulders high above the rest in the race for the Councillorship seat of the ward”, Harrison stressed.
