Daniel reveals Ibom Youth’s ambition ahead new NNL season
Ibom Youth captain, Ibenga Daniel, is optimistic that the team can kick-start their 2023 Nigeria National League campaign with a win.
The Akwa Ibom club will welcome Cynosure Football Club in their matchday one fixture at the Ikot Ekpene Township Stadium on Wednesday.
Daniel reckoned that having a young squad will not deter Ibom Youth from achieving their objective this season.
“We are confident of starting the season with a victory against Cynosure FC,” Daniel told the club’s media.
” We know the expectations that come with playing for a club like Ibom Youth Football Club that has finished in 3rd spot for three consecutive NNL seasons.
” We have a young yet ambitious squad and we will do our best to get something special this season. “
