Democracy Day: Meeting with service chiefs will yield fruits soon – Bago to Niger residents

Niger State Governor, Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago has announced that the impact of his interface with service chiefs in the state will soon be felt by all and sundry.

The Governor, in a statement to mark the 2023 Democracy Day, said the welfare of citizens is paramount to developing a democratic system.

Bago maintained that time has come that things must be done differently to bring about the desired results.

He congratulated the people of the state on the celebration of Democracy Day while commiserating with the people affected by the renewed banditry attacks in parts of the state.

“I want to assure you of the resolve of our administration to have a secured state and the impact of my interface with Service Chiefs will soon be felt by all and sundry,” he disclosed.

The Governor then prayed for the repose of those killed and prayed for the quick recovery of those injured and the safe return of abductees.
