Desmond Elliot Kneels Before Gbajabiamila, Begs for Forgiveness Over APC Primary

Hon. Desmond Elliot has reportedly gone on his knees to plead with former Speaker of the House of Representatives and the chief of staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, over his actions during the last APC primary election in Lagos.

Elliot, a lawmaker representing Surulere Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, reportedly expressed regret over his conduct during the primary and appealed for forgiveness and reconciliation.

He also pleaded to be reintegrated into the APC family in Lagos, acknowledging that his judgment was clouded during the contentious primary process.

According to the account, Elliot accepted the verdict of the people of Surulere and expressed his readiness to renew his loyalty to the leadership of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) in Lagos.

The  lawmaker is said to have appealed for a fresh opportunity to rebuild his relationship with the party leadership, particularly Gbajabiamila, while pledging continued loyalty to the APC and its leadership structure in the state.

His reported gesture is being viewed as an attempt to close ranks and strengthen unity within the Lagos APC ahead of future political engagements.
