EFCC Releases Tambuwal On Bail, Blasts ADC For Politicising Anti-Corruption War

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released former governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.

Recall that Tambuwal was detained on Monday after honouring the invitation of the anti-corruption agency, over alleged fraudulent withdrawal of cash to the tune of N189 billion as Sokoto State governor.

He was granted administrative bail after meeting all the condition.

The EFCC also condemned the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for allegedly politicising its investigation.
