Ekiti police arrest 4 for robbery

The Ekiti State Police Command has apprehended four suspects in Lagos State for accosting and robbing a victim of one mini Suzuki bus and Itel phone along Aramoko- Ekiti road.

In a statement by the spokesperson of the command, DSP Sunday Abutu, the four suspects were arrested by the anti-vehicle theft section(AVTS) of the command.

The suspects, Agboola Kunle, 31, Balogun Waheed, 20, Taiwo Islamia, 19 and Adele Samuel, 23, will be arraigned accordingly as soon as the investigation is concluded, Abutu disclosed.

The statement affirmed that “Itel phone taken away was recovered while effort is ongoing to arrest other members of the syndicate and recover the minibus hijacked from the victim.”
