Enyimba: I’m in Enyimba to make a difference – Akuneto

Former Nigeria Premier Football League top scorer, Chijioke Akuneto has revealed his ambition at Enyimba.

Akuneto has penned a short-term contract with the Aba giants.

The striker was top scorer in the NPFL last season, netting 19 times to help Rivers United win the title for the first time.

Akuneto is determined to achieve the same feat at his new club.

“Enyimba is the most successful club in Nigeria and I want to play my part in ensuring we continue on that path,” he stated.

“There is enough quality in this team together we can make history this season.”

Akuneto will look to make his debut against Bendel Insurance this weekend.
