EPL: Conte names two title contenders after Arsenal defeat Tottenham 2-0

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Antonio Conte, has named Arsenal and Manchester City as the two Premier League title contenders this season.

The Gunners claimed a 2-0 win in the North London Derby on Sunday.

A Hugo Lloris own goal and Martin Odegaard effort ensured Mikel Arteta’s men opened an eight-point gap between themselves and City.

Conte takes his players to the Etihad to face the champions on Thursday night.

And he has named the top two teams as the likely winners of the title in May.

“Arsenal deserve to stay top of the table and fight to win the Premier League.

“They and Manchester City are the two title contenders,” Conte told BBC Match of the Day.
