EPL: Eriksen, Man Utd’s best player – Former club defender Mikael Silvestre

Former Manchester United defender, Mikael Silvestre, has named midfielder Christian Eriksen as the club’s best player of the season so far.

Silvestre said Eriksen stands out, adding that he has been impressed with the Danish’s defensive attitude and efforts at Old Trafford.

Recall that Eriksen joined Man United on a free transfer during the summer transfer window after the expiration of his deal with Brentford.

“His positioning, his transition play. I have been impressed with his defensive attitude and efforts,” Silvestre told Betting Expert.

“I think Christian Eriksen has been the best so far. He fitted straight into the team and brought what he does best in midfield. He’s been excellent on both sides of the game. He’s the one that stands out so far.”
