EPL: He’s capable – Ten Hag gives update on Greenwood ahead of next season

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has hinted that he would integrate Mason Greenwood back into the Red Devils’ squad.
However, the Dutchman wants the Red Devils hierarchy to make the final decision and will not be involved in the discussions.
Ten Hag said this when he was asked by the Times Sport’s Henry Winter to provide an update on the England forward and he hinted that he was open to adding the suspended footballer to his squad next season.
Greenwood’s future at the club is understandably a sensitive issue after the player was in February cleared of charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault.
But Manchester United are yet to have anything to do with the 21-year-old pending an internal investigation.
Winter wrote, “Ten Hag says simply that the forward has ‘showed in the past that he is capable of doing that’ front role, scoring 36 times in 130 appearances, but emphasises it is not his decision as to whether he returns.”
