EPL: Jay Jay Okocha names favourite player in Premier League

Former Super Eagles skipper, Austin Jay Jay Okocha has revealed his favourite African player in the Premier League.

Okocha played for Bolton Wanderers where he emerged as one of the best players in the league under manager Sam Allardyce.

He won the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria in 1994 and scored 14 goals across 73 caps for his country.

He was quizzed about his favourite current African players in the Premier League during an interview with wettfreunde and the Nigerian picked Algerian forward, Ryan Mahrez.

“I like Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City,” Okocha said. “He’s developed fantastically.”
