EPL: Man Utd’s Marcel Sabitzer ready for Crystal Palace clash

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said that new signing Marcel Sabitzer is ready to be unleashed against their Premier League opponents this weekend.

The Austrian midfielder is in line to make his debut for the Red Devils this weekend.

Crystal Palace will travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Saturday and ten Hag, who addressed a press conference on Friday ahead of the Premier League clash, said that 28-year-old Sabitzer, who joined United from Bayern Munich on transfer deadline day, may file against Patrick Vieira’s side.

The Austrian missed his new side’s 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday as he was still dealing with his visa process.

But the Dutch manager has confirmed that the midfielder will be available for the clash with Palace and that he may even start.

“He did only one session but you can see he’s a very fit player. I think he is ready to play. It could be [that he starts],” he said.
