EPL: Ten Hag speaks on Man Utd winning title after 2-1 win over Man City

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has said it is too early to talk about a title challenge.

Ten Hag was responding to questions after United’s 2-1 win over Manchester City on Saturday.

The result took the Red Devils to within one point of City, who themselves are still five points behind leaders Arsenal.

However, Ten Hag doesn’t want to be carried away by talk of his team fighting to win the league this season.

“Don’t do that, we are not even half way through the season. it’s only January.

“There is a lot to come, a lot of gaps in our game we have to work on,” Ten Hag told reporters.
