EPL: Wright blasts Everton for selling Iwobi to Fulham

Former Arsenal forward, Ian Wright, has questioned Everton’s decision to sell Alex Iwobi to Fulham.
Iwobi joined Fulham from Everton on transfer deadline day, ending his four-year association with the Toffees.
The 27-year-old had a difficult start to life at Goodison Park but later became an integral member of the squad.
The versatile midfielder featured in all of Everton’s 38 Premier League games last season, contributing seven assists and two goals.
The former Arsenal player was also named Everton’s Player of the Season.
Wright opined that the Toffees made a mistake by selling their most creative player.
“Everton have sold, for me, arguably, their best creative player in the last couple of seasons in Iwobi,” Wright said in an interview on Premier League Productions.
“And they sold him to Fulham. This is the level they have dropped to.
“I am not disrespecting Fulham. We are talking about Rooney to Manchester United, talking about big players, and even Arteta going to Arsenal.” [sic].
