EPL: You look miserable – Paul Scholes blasts Man Utd star

Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has hit out at striker Marcus Rashford after he was dropped by manager Erik ten Hag for the Red Devils’ Premier League tie against Wolves on Saturday because of an ‘internal disciplinary issue’.

Rashford netted the first goal in Man United’s Premier League 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday and was expected to start against Wolves on Saturday afternoon.

But Ten Hag confirmed before kick-off that the England international was named as a substitute as punishment for a disciplinary problem.

Speaking on the development, Scholes said that Rashford looked a bit miserable, adding that he is jeopardizing his own form.

“He’s jeopardizing his own form, really,” Scholes said of Rashford after Man United’s team against Wolves was announced on Saturday.

“Being stupid or whatever he’s done is wrong, the manager has seen it and he comes out of the team.

“But when the lad’s in such form, he has been so happy this season, you think of the last 18 months where he has looked miserable and he has not performed.

“Now, could this jeopardize him going forward? I hope not, he looks a bit miserable there [during the warm-up], he will do it because he is not playing. I hope it does not jeopardize the next six months of the season.”
