Family Entertainment Takes Over GOtv This Weekend

The weekend is here and GOtv is the place to be for another round of premium family entertainment. It’s a loaded weekend of sports, gist, kids’ content, and lots more across GOtv channels for your enjoyment. Here are some top programmes to look out for:

 

FIFA World Cup: The much-awaited 2022 FIFA World Cup will kick-off on Sunday the 20th with the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador. SuperSport will be bringing all the 64 matches and customers get to enjoy all match commentary in local languages such as Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa and Pidgin.

With Chude: Catch prolific interviewer and award-winning media entrepreneur, Chude Jideonwo as he takes us through a series of inspiring life stories and heart strengthening narratives with special guests and celebrities, weekly on Africa Magic Urban. Tune in to enjoy another episode this Sunday on (GOtv Channel 6) at 8pm.

Off Air with Gbemi &Toolz: This one is for the gist lovers. The chemistry between the hosts, media personalities, and Gbemi and Toolz makes them the perfect hosts to hang with. Tune in for the hottest gist, every Thursday, at 9:30 pm, on Africa Magic Urban (Channel 6).

AM Come Play Naija: The fun is back! Season two of the show premieres today Thursday the 17th at 9pm with media sensation, Hero Daniels, returning as host. It’s back-to-back episodes on Friday and Saturday the 18th and 19th of November 2022 respectively. Come Play Naija will be available to GOtv customers on Africa Magic Urban (GOtv SUPA channel 6), and Africa Magic Family (GOtv channel 2).

Kellogg’s Superstars:  This is a quiz show that tests the academic knowledge, physical and mental skills of Nigerian primary school pupils. The kids participate in physical games. trivia, and syllabus questions that test their abilities and eventually reveal who shines the brightest of all. Watch the kids shine every Saturday and Sunday on Zeeworld (GOtv Channel 25), at 6pm.

 

Football on Cartoon Network: As the FIFA World Cup takes centerstage this November, Cartoon Network has ensured that the kids are not left out of the football fiesta. While adults in the home enjoy the live coverage of the tournament, kids can also enjoy football on Cartoon Network (GOtv Channel 67) with new episodes of Coach Me If You Can and Supa Strikas, showing Saturdays and Sundays at 9:10am.
