Fenerbahce star, Osayi-Samuel vows to make Super Eagles stronger

Super Eagles new call-up, Bright Osayi-Samuel is determined to make his mark in the team.

The Fenerbahce star is in Nigeria’s squad for the international friendly against Portugal.

The 24-year-old is also eligible to represent the Three Lions of England but instead opted to play for the Super Eagles.

Osayi-Samuel will look to make his first appearance for the Super Eagles against Portugal on Thursday.

“I will play to the very best of my abilities and bring my qualities to make the Super Eagles stronger,” he vowed in an interview with the Super Eagles media.

“I’m Nigerian and I’m proud to be Nigerian. I’m honoured to play for Nigeria.”

Osayi-Samuel was born in Okija, Anambra State, then moved to Spain before emigrating to England when he was 10 years old.
