FG gives tips to boost non-oil export

The Federal government has engaged newly registered exporters on ways to boost non-oil revenue.
According to NAN, the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) made this known on Wednesday at the Imo State exporters’ training.
The Executive Director of the NEPC, Dr Ezra Yakusak, who spoke at the event, harped on the need to look beyond oil revenue amid the country’s economic hardship.
Yakusak, represented by MEPC’s Coordinator in Imo, Mr Anthony Ajuruchi, stressed that non-oil export is a lifeline to stop the nation’s economy from collapsing.
“In the light of present economic conditions, we must think away from oil and redouble our efforts to grow our economy, make it reliable and restate our presence in the global market,” he said.
