FG gives update on IPPIS payment challenges

The federal government says it is committed to resolving all challenges with its payroll payment system, Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS).

Accountant-General of the Federation (AGF), Mrs Oluwatoyin Madein disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday by Bawa Makwa, the Director of Press at OAGF.

Recall that the federal government had blamed technical glitches for the challenges experienced in salary payment.

Madein, in a meeting with IPPIS officials, assured of a permanent solution to the payment system to avert future challenges.

“The OAGF is determined to consolidate on the gains of the IPPIS and will work assiduously to maintain an efficient and trustworthy payroll system for the country.

“We have taken notice of the challenges in IPPIS, and we will do everything possible, not only to resolve them but to forestall future occurrence,” the AGF said.
