Former Borno SSG, Shuwa is dead

The immediate past Secretary to the Borno State Government, Alhaji Usman Jidda Shuwa, is dead.

Shuwa was Governor Babagana Zulum’s SSG during his first tenure.

According to a source, the former SSG died on Saturday at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.

The seasoned administrator, with a long-standing track record, worked at both state and federal levels.
