Friendly: How Super Eagles can beat Portugal – Onyemaechi

Boavista defender, Bruno Onyemaechi, has said the Super Eagles need to be at their best to overcome Portugal in today’s friendly fixture.
Onyemaechi has been called up by Nigeria for the first time following an impressive campaign with the Panthers.
The versatile defender has been playing in Portugal for four years having also played for CD Feirense and is accustomed to the country’s style of play.
The 23-year-old stated that the Super Eagles must be aggressive if they want to get a positive result from the game.
”It’s going to be a difficult game. For my game I need to stay calm and when I have the ball try to find my teammate,”Onyemaechi told NFF TV.
“We need to be aggressive with and without the ball because the team we are playing is a very good opponent.
“The team we are going to play is not an easy team but we are going to do our best and hopefully get a win.”
The game at the Estadio Jose Alvalade will kick off at 7.45pm Nigeria time.
