German Cup: Boniface scores on official debut for Bayer Leverkusen

Victor Boniface scored on his official debut as Bayer Leverkusen thrashed Teutonia Ottensen 8-0 in the German Cup game on Saturday.

Boniface scored the fourth goal against the fourth-tier league club three minutes before the break.

The forward joined Leverkusen from Belgian Pro League outfit Union St Gilloise last month.

The 22-year-old was also on target twice in a pre-season friendly against West Ham United last week.

The new Bundesliga season will kick off next weekend with Bayer Leverkusen at home against RB Leipzig.
