Gombe United coach confident of Premier League survival

Gombe United Football Club coach, Aliyu Zubairu has expressed confidence that his side will escape relegation in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season

The Savannah Scorpions who suffered a 2-0 loss on the road to Plateau United on Sunday are currently three points above the relegation zone.

Zubairu assured that his team will keep working hard to escape the drop

“I believe that Gombe United Will finish above relegation.,”he told DAILY POST

“We need to work more on the boys’ finishing and once they start scoring, things will get better.”

Gombe United are in seventh position on the Group A table.
