Gov Buni mourns as 5 youths perish in Yobe auto crash

Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has received with shock the sad news of the death of five youths in a road traffic accident in Bara, Gulani Local Government Area of the state.

Buni in a statement by his media aide, Mamman Mohammed, described the loss of three out of the five youths as sad and unfortunate.

He also commiserated with the families of Late Baba Tamali who lost one person, and Malam Madu Malya who also lost one.

The governor, who was visibly terrified by the demise of the young lads, said the expectation of a promising future for them by their families and loved ones was cut short by the accident.

He prayed Allah (SWT) to grant them eternal rest in Aljannatur Firdaus and to the families, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Gov. Buni reminded road users across the state to be careful while on the roads especially as the harmattan season sets in making visibility difficult.
