The highly anticipated GTCO Fashion Weekend 2024 kicked off yesterday 9th of November, 2024 at the GTB-owned event center in Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Themed “Fashion Moves Forward,” the event showcased emerging talents, latest trends and Nigeria’s evolving fashion landscape. Renowned experts Lulu Kennedy, Patricia Bright, Sheila Daley and Ted Gibson delivered insightful masterclasses.

Day 1’s runway featured stunning collections from Gert Johan Coetzee, Onalaja, Orire, Hue by Idera, Romeo Hunte and Sukeina. Nurie, Lofiye and Jewel Jamila showcased their designs on the presentation stage.

The outdoor street village buzzed with Native African designers, streetwear brands and food vendors.

Organizers promise an exciting Day 2.
