GTCO Food and Drink Festival 2025: A Celebration of Culture and Enterprise
The 2025 GTCO Food and Drink Festival, themed “Shared Experience of Culture,” has come to a close, leaving attendees in awe of the impeccable organization and management of the event. Despite the large crowd of both children and adults, the three-day festival, held at GTCentre, Victoria Island, Lagos, from May 2nd to May 4th, 2025, was executed without any unforeseen emergencies.
The festival, now in its eighth year, featured 204 free retail stalls showcasing a diverse range of culinary delights, from traditional Nigerian dishes to contemporary fusion cuisines. Renowned chefs, including Christian Duhalde, Tilewa Odediran, Tanra Patterson, and Thomas Zacharias, among others, conducted masterclasses, inspiring creativity and innovation in the food industry.
The event’s purpose extends beyond culinary celebration, aiming to uplift small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria’s food and drink industry. By providing a platform for food retailers to connect with consumers, the festival promotes local enterprise, enhances growth, and delivers real economic empowerment.
