Heartland secure NNL Super Eight spot

Heartland have secured a place in the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoff, DAILY POST reports.

The Naze Millionaires defeated Ibom Youth 2-1 at the Eket Stadium in a matchday nine encounter.

Patrick Nwogbaga and Izuchukwu Abugo’s goals were on target for Heartland in the game.

Heartland top the Southern Conference Group B with 21 points, ten points ahead of second-placed Giant Brillars.

Katsina United are the other team who have qualified for the Super Six.

Christian Obi’s side will take on Abia Comets at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, in their final league game of the regular season.
