“I Started K!lling At 10… I’ve K!lled More Than 100 People And R@ped Several Women.” — Repentant Boko Haram Member Confesses In Rehabilitation Camp

A shocking confession has emerged from a former member of the extremist group Boko Haram, who admitted during an interview with Danish vlogger Jones Raw that he personally k!lled more than 100 Nigerians and participated in several violent acts during his time with the terror group.

The encounter reportedly took place inside a rehabilitation camp housing former insurgents who surrendered to authorities after years of conflict in Nigeria’s northeast.

During the conversation, the ex-fighter revealed that he joined the group as a child and was forced into violence at a very young age.According to him, he was only 10 years old when he first carried a gun.

“I started with a gun at the age of ten. The elders forced us to k!ll,” the repentant fighter said, explaining how young recruits were indoctrinated and pushed into violent missions in the bush.

When asked how many people he believed he had k!lled, the man replied that the number exceeded 100 victims, most of whom were civilians encountered during attacks carried out in remote areas around Maiduguri and surrounding communities.

The confession highlighted the brutal methods used by the insurgent group, including attacks on villages and forced participation in violence.

The former militant also spoke about how women captured during raids were treated by the fighters. According to him, female captives were often forced into marriages with members of the group, as militants sought wives within their camps.

“They marry the women they capture because there are not many women in the bush,” he explained through a translator during the interview.

However, the visit to the rehabilitation camp also exposed the lingering dangers surrounding former fighters who claim to have renounced extremism.

At one point during the filming, a tense moment unfolded when a man approached the vlogger with what was later suspected to be a hidden knife inside his jacket.

The individual was quickly stopped by others at the camp before he could get close. Jones Raw later said the incident made him realize that some of the individuals undergoing rehabilitation may still hold extremist beliefs.

“Many of them may never fully change,” he reportedly said after the incident, noting that attacking a Western visitor could have been viewed as heroic among some insurgents.

Nigeria has been battling the insurgency led by Boko Haram for over a decade, with thousands of lives lost and millions displaced across the northeast.

In recent years, the government has implemented rehabilitation and deradicalization programs aimed at reintegrating former fighters into society.

However, the revelations from the camp have sparked fresh concerns about whether some ex-combatants truly abandon extremist ideology.

Security analysts warn that while rehabilitation programs are important for ending long-running conflicts, proper monitoring and psychological evaluation remain critical to prevent the risk of former militants returning to violence.

The confession and the near-attack during the visit have once again highlighted the deep scars left by the insurgency and the complex challenges Nigeria faces in restoring lasting peace to the affected regions.
