IMPOSITION OF CANDIDATES, WE WON’T TAKE IT BECAUSE IT’S A DANGER SIGNAL TO DEMOCRACY

As we are approaching new Political dispensations, the leaders, elders and members need to focus more on the promotion and sustainable Party Internal Democracy. This will encourage adequate participation and provide quality and competent Candidates. Imposition of Candidates through oppression, intimidation and hand-picking are danger signal to Democracy.

Politics and Political Association which promote healthy relationship and family ties then, have turn to another thing. We are witnessing more hatred, pain, agony, oppression and suppression of first degree.

Loyalty is now shifted, and so many people now use rumours, blackmail, and human Praise to win favour and positions, at the expense of competency, vibrancy, good performance, intellectualism, credibility, and strong character.

Our today’s political culture introduce persecution, withdrawal of Rights and Privileges, Humiliation, imposition of superannuated aspirants as candidates, harassment, egocentric tendencies, too many pretenders and surrogate leadership.

Our agitations and yearnings is to choose competent and vibrant youths for us at this difficult times not imposing a man in his 60s who happened to be our father on us.

Amongst the aspirants vying for the position is Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton. He perfectly fits the bill. He’s one of the most sought after prodigious thinkers and exceptional doers of our time. He has local and national clouts to pull strings for the Ward and for our people when need be. He has done e great things in the past in similar and tough circumstances. So his records speak eloquently for him.

This is his time, a time when his person and ideals are most relevant. These explain why he’s the most popular aspirant in Ward A, Agege today and why people are making enormous sacrifices of their time, their talents and their treasures to ensure he becomes their next Councillor.

Reserve the imposition of the old man and never choose or impose another superannuated aspirants on us other that Comrade Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton who is the most qualified.
